An over-the-counter cryptocurrency platform based in Chicago, DigitalMint recently installed 20 new bitcoin kiosks at Circle K convenience stores as part of a trial across Arizona and Nevada.

This marks the company’s largest expansion since it was founded back in 2014 as per a press release. In the five years which the crypto startup has been around, it has established either ATM or OTC service branches in 250 locations across 25 states.

Marc Grens, DigitalMint’s president states in a press release:

“We are thrilled to be partnering with a respected organization like Circle K. This partnership opens the door for massive expansion of bitcoin access to new markets around the globe.”

ATM’s manufactured by DigitalMint enables consumers to purchase and trade up to $20,000 in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Litecoin (LTC) per day. DigitalMint charges 12% per transaction, with fee reductions available to the public on the company site.

Joel Konicke, category manager at Circle K Stores, in the release states:

“Partnering with DigitalMint allows us to provide our customers with seamless access to Bitcoin, at a very reasonable price.”

Purchases, however, can only be made by cash as the firm does not accept debit or credit cards. In addition, Bitcoin can be bought by wire transfer with a $5,000 minimum spend. Moreover, approved and accredited customers can have their transfer limits pushed beyond $1 million.

The ATMs in Arizona can be found in Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Tucson, Flagstaff, Surprise and Maricopa. While over in Nevada, the ATMs can be found in Las Vegas.
