In a YouTube video, Ells explained that the startup would also be reinventing its GigFair project to make it more appealing to freelancers in developing countries.
The new Beta platform dubbed ‘AnyTasks’ is designed to enable people in developing countries to live better with cryptocurrency and create more value for end-users on the platform.
This freelancer platform would be similar to the online marketplace for freelance services ‘Fiverr’ in many ways, except it unlocks the global digital economy for the world’s unbanked by paying service providers in ETN tokens at no cost to them..
Moreover, the fact that the freelance platform is fundamentally sustainable for the long-term means the project is setting itself apart from so many others.
Freelancer Platform for Developing Countries
Electroneum is slowly creating a financial ecosystem, primarily aimed at helping the ‘unbanked’ in developing countries across the globe.
Integral to this is the offering of a “task economy” where freelancers in developing countries can access a free eLearning platform. This ideology is projected to build the entire Electroneum ecosystem pushing its adoption to higher heights.
The company focuses on helping people in developing countries and aims to help eradicate financial exclusion. It is also focused on spurring mass crypto adoption by educating people in the use of cryptocurrency. They give Electroneum users in developing countries up to US$3 per month in ETN.
