Technology for the Future of Music

Anyone can do well during the bull run, but cryptocurrency investors should pay close attention to what happens in the winter. These are the times that separate the strong from the weak.

The Emanate team, based out of Sydney, Australia is one such team.

During the course of 2018’s market downturn the team have built a formidable brand, have raised enough funding to develop their alpha platform, secured a platform partnership with 500,000 artists have been accepted into an incubation program in the United States and are now onboarding dozens of top-shelf electronic artists and labels to furnish their Alpha platform with.

Emanate is Technology for the Future of Music. A decentralised network for artists, labels and music lovers with real-time payments and a trustless collaboration framework. The Emanate demo is already live at https://demo.emanate.live, and the Alpha platform is in the works for April this year.

Building on EOSIO Since October 2017, the Emanate team eye-balled EOS as their platform of choice. Before the launch of EOS mainnet, this was a bold choice, but the technical capability of the software has proven itself so far, and the community growing around EOS is strong and supportive. Even Block. One chose to highlight Emanate in their #builtoneosio series and went on to Invite the Emanate team to Blockchain Live in London, to help exhibit the capabilities of the platform on the Block One Village.

“EOSIO is an ideal foundation for applications like Emanate”, says Serg Metelin, Head of Developer Relations at Block.one, “The fast transaction speed and scalability of EOSIO enable Emanate to create a platform where different parties in the music industry can share and contribute directly.”

Partnering with Vampr.me in March 2018, Emanate signed a deal to share an audience and build a community with Vampr.me – a social network for musicians that have over 500,000 members. Emanate, and Vampr will be become closely integrated over time, and those users who have met on Vampr and made music together will be able to monetise their creation on Emanate effectively.

Launching Alpha

Emanate are in the token distribution phase, with sale activities and airdrops underway. With over 300,000 EOS accounts being airdropped to later this month, the Emanate team aim to have 10,000 Emanate Alpha platform accounts open by May.

The team stand clearly for a few key things; a clear path to decentralisation of the music industry, a focus on creativity and passion for music at all times and an overall drive to improve the adaptability of blockchain platforms within mass audiences.

In a space where many crypto projects are having a go, or have already failed, Hacked.com named Emanate as the Blockchain Music project most likely to succeed.
