By On September 4th 2019, the first-ever official Gamedrop™ will be launched on the Agareum platform, using Agareum’s utility token AGR. This will be the first multiplayer game to utilize the new Gamedrop™ technology.
A Gamedrop™ is a gamified version of an airdrop, which allows tokenized and crypto-focused ventures to drop their token directly into a platform, allowing it to be distributed and collected by players who are battling head-to-head to fill their bags. This creates a competitive and exciting edge, where community members can uniquely engage with the project and each other.
The Agareum platform is based on a popular traditional game. The game itself plays host to a number of added features such as Ethereum Wallet integration (ERC20), crypto-oriented player skins, and the capacity to collect tokens within the game which can be used to gain access to additional features and later be transferred to exchanges for trading.

How it works
According to the official newsletter from the Agareum website, there are a couple of things that interested users need to do before gaining access to the Gamedrop™. Users are urged to register and join the game’s social and community channels. This will ensure they are kept in the loop at all times with updates and announcements.
BlockchainXYZ, the studio behind the new gaming platform, has recently completed their Agareum test phase creating a multiplayer space for people to play competitively for tokens.
