By One month has passed since the release of Trinity wallet (July 2). Development details from the IOTA foundation report that many people are already using Trinity app 1.0.0, which is available on the app stores.
A vast amount of work went into this task and has reached its highest point. It has also been given the go-ahead by both the IOTA and the broader cryptocurrency society.
Development of New Features for Trinity V2
Nevertheless, this is not the end as so much needs to be done to continue maintaining Trinity V1. The anticipated release of the second part of Trinity is a new invention of a version that has more to offer than the usual cryptocurrency wallet.
Thousands of people are already using the app, and proper maintenance has to be observed to ensure it delivers on an up-to-par basis. The maintenance team has been working to make sure that the outstanding bug fixes, minor feature adjustments, and cash reports are being tackled extensively.
There are a lot of other features that need to be integrated into the V1, but this has to be done soon considering that the team will have to develop new features for V2 as well. So, what they are doing is making the features acceptable in the V2 to have a more appropriate time for the coming-up of the second iteration.
The new integrated features for the V1 include:
- Ledger Nano X Bluetooth accessibility:
This feature has been in existence for a couple of months. Even though it is supported through USB on Trinity desktop, the Bluetooth support is yet to be added. It has to be added to ensure there is the security of funds with a Ledger Nano X.
- Spent Address Recovery Tool
Previously, many users would end up with funds or spent addresses, but that’s not the case anymore with the funds arriving on a spent address.
- Trinity Desktop dev mode
The use of the wallets will be more straight forward with the introduction of this added feature.
Looking Straight Ahead with the Trinity V2
While the IOTA Foundation did not get into the details of Trinity V2, they pointed out that development and planning have already begun on this project with prospects looking-up. A sneak-peak of what to expect revealed that the new version would open up Trinity for new developers to implement their modules.
