The central theme surrounding “Th3 Future”, a short sixteen-minute film about Bitcoin is “always protect your passwords.” Keep them safe and never lose them.

“Th3 Future” is a cautionary tale in the best sense of the term. The story follows Kevin, an office worker who ends up on the streets of Los Angeles after failing to remember his passkey to his crypto fortune. Our lead character burns every friendship he has in the process of trying to remember his password to his wealth and nearly goes insane in his quest to escape his mundane reality.

The film is great. For a short film which took two months of pre-production, seven days to film and 300+ hours to edit it’s a stellar yet quick and entertaining flick with a powerful message.

The film boasts a stellar performance by the lead, played by Kevin Norton, outstanding cinematography and some slick editing for a short film which has clearly been made on a shoestring budget.

Of course, there are those crypto enthusiast trolls on Reddit already screaming bloody murder at some of the events which take place in the film.

We’ve got to agree with user Fernseherr. It’s a movie. And while the scene was rooted in fiction and not fact, it was still entertaining and in line with the theme of rags to riches.

We’ve said enough, take a peek for yourself, you probably won’t regret it, and if you do, it’s only sixteen minutes of your life. Watch the full short film here.
