By It was only a matter of time before the world was treated to a documentary series which aims to educate and enlighten the masses of the general populace. With the ever-expanding world that is blockchain and cryptocurrency, its high time that a group of filmmakers who are crypto enthusiasts in their own right have banded together to bring the world a docuseries which genuinely brings the innovative world and history of crypto and blockchain into the light as it deserves to be.
“The Geeks Shall Inherit The Earth” is the first documentary series of its kind and Blockchain and has been crafted to appeal to a mainstream audience by putting a face to the talented minds behind the innovative and groundbreaking technology. Blockchain could very be as much of a technological revolution on the scale of the internet itself, but it remains one that the general public, for the most part, has very little knowledge of.
The film introduces the viewer to the Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates of this new era and features exclusive access to rare footage such as shrouded in secrecy Bitcoin mines.
Back in 2018 the Decipher Media team, Ania, a Reuters/Vice journalist and Ben who holds the title as one of the planet’s top C programmers, traveled across the globe from Europe to South America and Asia to film exclusive interviews with some of the biggest and most revered names in the Blockchain industry. Their travels, interviews and video documentation evolved into the format of a television docuseries which revisits the characters, projects and their endeavors across 24 months.
The Decipher Media team were fortunate enough to interview Ethereum CEO Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum and IOHK Charles Hoskinson, CEO of SingularityNET Dr Ben Goertzel, early investor veteran Roger Ver and computer scientist Craig Wright. Also included in the upcoming documentary are interviews with Omisego, Crypto Kitties, Ontology, VeChain, Neo, Binance, Giacomo Zucco, Changelly, Tron, Status, Friends, MelonPort, Decentraland, Ripio, RSK, Amir Taaki, Bill Tai, Nicholas Dorier and Jihan Wu with many more exciting industry names to be featured.
“The Geeks Shall Inherit The Earth” was co-produced by the abovementioned Ania Poullain-Majchrzak who has experience as a video journalist for Reuters and Getty Images. Ania has been at the helm as director and producer of several documentaries for The Discovery Channel, BBC and Channel 4. She boasts interviews with Tom Cruise. Justin Bieber and Meryl Streep with these exclusive on-screen talks being broadcast to millions worldwide.
Benedict Slaney as mentioned above is the second co-producer and is known as a talented and veteran C programmer with high praise and respect within the programming community. Benedict has held a firm stance within the Blockchain industry for many years and earned his first million for the sale of groundbreaking forensic software which created for the CIA and FBI.
Exciting times are sure to be lying just ahead in the near future for the world of Blockchain and “The Geeks Shall Inherit The Earth” will most certainly play in integral role in removing the wool from the eyes of the unwashed masses.
